To ensure a safe clinic environment, please understand:
We highly recommend patients to wear face masks at our clinics.
For any emails labelled as “URGENT or ASAP,” we will recommend
you call 911 or go to the ER.
Please refrain from submitting your request, emailing or calling multiple times as this does not change the priority list.
For all patients: make sure to update us on telephone, home address, and OHIP changes
We require a 24 HOUR NOTICE for appointment cancellations or rescheduling due to limited offerings of in-person appointments.
Patients can email us at any time to let us know of changes. Failure to notify us of a cancelled or rescheduled on-site appointment within 24 hours will result in a fee of $50.
- A valid OHIP must be presented each and every time you visit.
- You will be asked the reason you need to speak with the doctor. Please be concise and short. If you do not wish to say it, please say “personal matter.”
- For any emergencies, please go to your nearest hospital. Do not wait for the doctor to call.
NUMBER OF PEOPLE AT AN APPOINTMENT: Only those individuals who are scheduled with the doctor are permitted at the clinic. Only one (1) parent is permitted for a minor patient. All others will be asked to wait outside of the clinic or in the car. If you are bringing a translator, this person must be screened by the doctor as well.
- We require at least a 48-HOUR NOTICE for prescription refills. In most cases, refills may be done sooner than that.
- For prescriptions, if you wish for your medication to be faxed to your pharmacy of choice, please provide all of the current contact information along with the fax number prior to your telephone consultation with the doctor.
- We reserve the right to early closure with excessive patient volumes, typically 30-60 minutes prior to posted closing times.
LATENESS POLICY: If you are late more than 10 minutes to an in-clinic appointment, your appointment will be forfeited with a rescheduling fee of $50. To avoid this, please arrive 10 minutes BEFORE your scheduled appointment time. Patients may be asked to wait in the waiting area.
- Please email us at info@medionephysicians.com, which is available 24/7.
- Doctors are meeting with new patients at this time.
- Our doctors do not prescribe narcotics or any other controlled substances over Telemedicine.
- Like most medical clinics, we do not bill directly to third-party insurance.
- Uninsured items not covered by OHIP are specifically listed. Please email our clinic to inquire about these fees.
We have a zero tolerance policy for aggressive, rude or
threatening behaviors at our clinic. Individuals will be asked
to leave immediately for the safety of all
